“Life Minder” Personal Emergency Call & GPS Alarm A potential Life saving Device
The Personal Life Minder has been designed with the intention of alerting management to potential danger/s to their employees such as: Falls and Entering Dangerous Areas.
It will be a valuable addition to the existing Work Health and Safety (WHS) procedures your company has already in place. The Life Minder will enable management to supply their employees with a vital communication link that will alert management to potential danger or dangers in the workplace. In the case of an employee having an incident which if not alerted could result in serious implications or a fatality. The Personal Medical Life Minder has application/s in the workplace, as a tool to mitigate risk/s. In situations of a critical emergency, and time can be of the essence resulting in the possibility of saving a life or lives. A Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU) has a primary duty of care to workers & others pursuant to Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation, in particular section 19 WHS Act 2011.
This duty equates to ensuring, as is reasonably practicable, the Health & Safety of persons (Workers & Others) is not put at risk as a result of the conduct or undertaking of the PCBU. The Life Minder uses GSM as its means of sending SMS messages, including two-way voice from the Life Minder to programmed mobiles. GPS is used for tracking the user’s location linked via Google Maps.
The Life Minder has applications for person/s who work in isolation, or isolated areas i.e. Manufacturing, Heavy Industry, Councils, Forestry, Emergency Personnel, and Farmers etc.
The Life Minder also has applications in the Hospitality & Aged Care industries that includes, but is not limited to Dementia and people living at home in isolation.
The primary purpose of the Personal Medical GPS Life Minder is keeping in contact with persons and/or alerting others to potential personal safety issues which clearly has application in the workplace and the personal safety of all workers in the workplace and is a beneficial addition to a company’s Work Health & Safety Policies & Procedures.
